Its going to be sometime after the S26's is released no date has been confirmed for the release of 8.5 to the public

Its in beta.. so probably two or three more stable releases before actually release to locked S25 Ultra
I have unlocked S25 Ultra 1TB I got directly thru Samsung US.. and I sign up for the ONE UI 8.5 beta.. sign i don't really mess with the features. I just notice it feels faster for some reason.. maybe faster processing.

You're going to have to wait. There has been no indication of when the stable update will be released for the S25 series.

If you guys don't mind, I have an idea in the software department for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra phones as well. You guys can update the now bar simular to the Dynamic Island on the IPhone, but a lot better. You guys can make the now bar more customizable, to the consumers liking.

For instance, with animations, you guys can make it so that we can customize the now bar to appear to pop out of the selfie camera, ready for us to touch and enlarge it for us to read, and when we are done reading it, the message can retract back into the selfie camera with neat and cool animations.

You guys could also update the now bar so that we the consumer can customize the animations, the shape, and the colors of the now bar. Just make it much better and more fun and cool to interact with than the IPhones Dynamic Island, that all.

Im having issues with s25...im not receiving the newest Samsung update and could really use some additional information to figure out how to change the ONE UI 8.0 for the ONE UI 8.5..

One ui 8.5 is not out yet it's just available on for the S26 series for now. Even I am waiting for it on my s25 ultra
