Call does not work over Bluetooth or Android Auto

When I pick up the phone or make calls, I cannot hear the recipient and the recipient cannot hear me. I was told it was just clicking sounds on their end. Audio connection seems to work as I can play music from Spotify and YouTube. Only call seems to be affected. What can I do to resolve this? When I open Bluetooth settings through my phone, I notice call is toggled on but audio remains off and cannot be toggled. Please help.

Are you running Android version 9.0 or higher ?

Mine is doing the same thing toggle on immediately shuts off!!

We are sorry to hear you cannot hear your phone calls. Are you able to hear the phone calls just using the device without having a Bluetooth connection? Is the sound distorted through Bluetooth no matter what you are connected to (headphones, android auto, etc.)? Has this been happening since you purchased the device or is this something new that just started happening?
