Apps Not Closing (Galaxy S25 FE)

Hi all,

I've been experiencing this glitch where my apps are not fully closing after I close them. I'll come back to the app later and it picks off where I left off inside of the app, versus a fresh clean start up of the app. The only way it stops this (temporarily) is if I go to Settings > Apps > Tap the app and force close. Anyone else experiencing this?

It doesn't happen often but maybe try to notice if you close your apps if they reopen on the main screen or reopen to the last page you left it. It's weird because it *looks* like the app closed and when it reopens, it kind of like books up but like is not fully clearing because it returns back to where it was closed.

This all started when I installed Bitfinder security. I found it is global and someone named Aman on a Galaxy 15 has taken over my phone and I can't get them off.

How are you closing them? Are you backing out of them completely or simply going to your home screen? Some apps require a deliberate sign-out in order to fully close. Some of my financial & medical apps are like this. Kinda stupid, but that's how they work. If any of your apps are set to unrestricted battery, that could also explain their behavior.

I use the multitasking menu to close all. When I do that, social media apps in particular do not close all the way. I've also tried swiping them away one by one.

Uninstall then reinstall them, then see how they work.
