Group text messages - S25 Ultra

Hello...need some advice! Up until 2 weeks ago I was having no issues with group text messages. I use Textra instead of the Samsung/Google messages and have for the last 7 years or so. But I noticed in one of my family group chats (2 iPhone users, 2 Android users including myself). I could send to the group but would not receive responses back or maybe 1 of the iPhone users response. If one of them send a message I would not get the initial message but might receive one of the iPhone users response and then I'm wondering why are they saying that only to find out i didn't receive the original message.

I've tested it on another messaging app and the same thing. I called my carrier (Tmobile) they said it has to do with RCS but I don't use RCS and I didn't have it turned on.

They have reset my network settings and couple other things but I'm not sure what else to try.

It's an RCS issue. iPhone users just got RCS and there will be hiccups here and there. Eventually you'll have to move to RCS when they retire SMS/MMS.

You will have to switch to a messaging app with RCS for better compatibility with iPhone users. At this point, that would be Google messages, as that's the version of RCS that the carriers want to use.

I would try using Google messages that has RCS.
