Dark Mode

Hello, good afternoon. I previously used an iPhone, but due to processor, camera, battery, and storage limitations, I decided to switch to an S25+. When I tried to enable dark mode, I noticed that it doesn't turn off all the pixels; instead, it leaves a grayish black. I'd like to know if there's a way to make it completely dark, or if it defaults to that tone?

Dark mode does not mean everything will be black. Actual background and highlight colors for the system are determined by the color palette feature. You can turn it off and see if you like that better. Long press or pinch in on the home screen and select "wallpaper and style" in the lower left. Tap "color palette" and toggle that feature off. Individual apps may also have their own coding that overrides dark mode (ex: Amazon shopping).

apps that don't support dark theme deserve a special place in my basement

Just my 2 cents if all the pixels turn off as you suggest how would you be able to read anything or do anything with completely dark screen
