Lost RCS Capabilities

After the latest security update a couple days ago, my RCS messaging stopped working. Anyone else have problems?

I'm not sure how exactly you lost Access to Rcs, If you are using Google messages try clearing the data and cache from the app, This will just reset the Rcs Stack and you won't lose any data from messages, If you are using Samsung messages try the same thing, Normally I security update doesn't boot you from Jibe since your device stays connected for a few days before Google verifies your phone number in the background, Did you change Carriers?

No, I have not changed carriers. I upgrade my phone about 2 months ago

Try clearly the cache and data from Google messages, Also make sure you update messages to the Current version, I'm not sure how you lost Rcs connectivity on your device but when you clear everything from the App you are basically restarting the Provisioning of your device, Please note that if it keeps failing don't continue to try to connect, After a few attempts Google automatically blocks your phone number for a period of time, Sometimes 24hrs

Try this, go to settings, Google Services.

Go to All Services, System Services and look for Updates there. Google recently sent out Updates for Play Services and Mainline Services. This might fix things.

Be aware when cleaning Data in Google Messages you will have to redo any custom tones you have set for any chats or contacts.

I was given to understand, from other posts, that Samsung has turned off thr RCS feature in their meassaging app. I don't know, I don't use the app, but I see all the posts screaming about it.

Have you:
1) enabled Developer Settings?
1b) enabled defaulted Android Chrome Webview flags?
2) had issues with Google Acccount trying to upload weird looking versions of Google Play store applications?
2b) forced to Unimstall older, imcompatible applications that were Auto-downloaded from a 'different' or ' synced Google Account that is NOT being synced to that device?
3) downloaded a Knox Matrix update through Galaxy Store that is in another language (other than the default or selected language)?
4) experienced oddities with

your Security Sign in on Google account, such as Sign Ins from browsers, locations, or time zones that make no sense?

Listen to me: this JUST rextified itself on my same device. It has something to do with Google Account Security. Some or none of this may apply but it took me a month or so to fix each of these issues. I was under the impresssion that my SIM 1 card was in some way impacted.

you will not be able to use the device & same device number to receive Carrier (RCS) and Android Key Verifier (critical to RCS-toRCS) updates. I cannot recall the stable version number until Google Services

This has nothing to do with loosing Rcs connectivity, The Android key verifier just let's you compare Key Token information with other users

By default Google blocks your phone number from being verified after a few failed attempts to fix Rcs in messages you can simply clear the cache and data from Google messages, It won't delete your messages but will result in loosing Custome Tones for your contacts

Rcs still works in Samsung messages, They haven't disabled anything yet
