No one wants to see a temperature app in this tile. Normal people who want to look at a weather app want to look at current radar. Showing this as the default and giving us no other option is retarded. Please fix this.

I recommend you send feedback through the weather app by tapping the Hamburger menu > then tap the 3 dots (right corner) > select settings > contact us > send feedback.

That will just go to the weather channel and I prefer that Samsung hears it and other people, on this directly

This method is through samsung. Feedback option goes directly to samsung.

You can also send feedback directly to samsung here through the members app by going to the community homepage > tapping the support button (checkmark) from the menu > select feedback option.

Oh thank you bpbatch76 for addressing this highly annoying feature. I always use radar but very seldom the temperature aspect. Temperature should be an option not a default.

Mine changes based on what is happening with weather - i assume yours may do the same? If it is totally clear and nothing going on it will give me that map of temps - if there are storms headed in I will get the radar automatically.

There is a weather app on the Play Store called Weawow. It's free, private, has no ads, and is highly customizable. You even get to choose which weather service you want to use with it.

Speak only for yourself. I only want to look at radar - ever- if there's a hurricane coming. Other than that, I couldn't care less. When I open a weather tile, I *specifically* want to see the temperature, and perhaps whether it's raining or sunny or cloudy (if I'm not near a window). Why do you think temperature does not belong on a radar map, and why does it bother you so much that it's there? It's not as if it's superimposed over the map, it's a tiny little squib underneath the map. Besides the app is informed by The Weather Channel and that information is from them. If you really hate it that much, Samsung Weather isn't the only weather app in town. You can choose another - one that doesn't have that annoying temperature thing interfering with your view.

There are a ton of weather app alternatives out there to choose from, if you don't like certain weather features on this one. Otherwise use the contact us/feedback option in the weather app and complain to them. Believe me, apps listen to users' feedback to improve upon the app. That is why they make the option available. Everybody has their own likes and tastes.

No, mine does not do that. For example, during a severe weather alert, a tornado watch or tornado warning, it stays on the heat map, which is ridiculously pointless.

Actually, tapping the "contact us" link in the weather app takes you directly to the Samsung support page where you can send feedback. Or you can just go to the support page directly and tap the feedback link. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

Then you should try clearing the cache of the app. It's supposed to change with weather conditions.
