      <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;Samsung just sent me an email that said they denied my trade in for my Galaxy s25 Ultra. The phone was brand new looking nothing wrong with the phone and it was factory reset it through the settings. They said that the phone wasn't factory reset. Which I know for a fact that it was. I called today and they said that they're escalating it. Has anybody had this issue with their training?&lt;/SPAN&gt;</description>

      <description>Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence with Samsung trade-ins, along with all kinds of other false claims, including "empty box." I'm glad it's being escalated. You should also request the video of your package being opened.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Customers need to protect themselves in case of fraudulent claims like this. Make sure you take pics and/or video of the device before you ship it. Document physical condition, as well as evidence of it having been factory reset. Also retain proof of having dropped it off with the shipping company.</description>

      <description>Every package being opened is video recorded. I have no idea what the video will show, but they're obligated to provide it upon request.</description>

      <description>After my current fiasco with Samsung, it appears they do not care about their customers. Sorry that happened to you. Its messed up that a multi-billion dollar company can't do better than constant escalation.</description>

      <description>To date I haven't had any issues with trade-ins but I always video and take pictures of the screen while booting. I also double and triple check that they are wiped and immediately boot into the setup screen.</description>

      <description>I honestly never had any problem with trade-ins. Always accepted with the max refund.</description>
