Prior Messages disappearing on sent email messages

When I reply to an email message on my Galaxy S25 phone and make sure that the box is checked for "Include Previous Messages", when I look at the sent message on my phone the prior message is there. When I check the sent message on my Tab S7 FE email the previous message does not show up. Is there something else I need to do on either my phone or tablet to keep the previous messages intact? I am using the Samsung Email app on both.

Samsung email app but a comcast email address.

Ok in general i have always had email stay in order meaning I reply the original below it and on etc I do think theres a email setting option to not do that

Well, I would like the original email to stay below and it does on my phone but it disappears on my tablet.

Expand Hidden Content: In the email reply window, look for three dots (...) representing the previous message. Tap them to ensure the text is included in your reply.

Check Sync Settings: Ensure your email sync period is not limited to a few days. Set it to "All time" to guarantee that the history being replied to is present.

Clear Cache & Data: Go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Email > Storage > Clear Cache. If the problem persists, choose Clear Data (Note: this may require re-adding your email account).

Update/Reinstall App: Check for updates in the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store. If that fails, uninstall the app, restart your phone, and reinstall it.

Try "Reply All": Occasionally, using "Reply All" instead of "Reply" ensures that the entire conversation thread, including attachments from previous emails, is included.

Conversation View Settings: Adjust the sorting order in settings, ensuring messages are grouped by conversation, or toggling between "newest at the bottom/top" to refresh the thread display.

Short Email Sync Period: If the previous email is older than the sync period (e.g., set to 1 week), it won't be included.

Attachment Limitation: The original file might have been attached only to an intermediate email in the thread, not the latest one.

Test it on another email setup, then reply to each to retain the previous sent emails in the same email thread.
