    <description>Correct. And now even SMS messages are not going thru most of the time. I have to delete and re send them a couple of times before they go through as SMS.</description>

      <title>RCS not working</title>

      <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;My wife and I have been having issues with RCS not working for over 2 weeks now. She has the S25+ and I have the S25 Ultra. Every day fort he last two weeks RCS won't work and it forces us to send SMS messages. Half of the time SMS messages won't go thru. Anyone else going thru this? We have Xfinity mobile and they said it's on Samsung not the Carriers.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;</description>

      <description>I'm not sure if this is any help.&lt;BR /&gt;I pressed to switch over to google messages. After I switched I started having problems with my phone. People wouldnt receive my texts or photos Id send. I called verizon, all we did was a the ol troubleshoot the phone but it didnt work.&lt;BR /&gt;The very kind lady said it might because "It doesnt know which app its sending from" or something like that.&lt;BR /&gt;The final solution was to change my mumber. I changed it fhe first time and people were still not getting my calls, I changed it the 2nd time and everything was back to normal. This was just my experience to make it work.</description>

      <description>If SMS is not going through, and your wife is having the same issue, I'm going to say your carrier is lying to you (or the rep you spoke to was misinformed). SMS goes through the carrier's servers, not Google's, as RCS does. I, personally, am not having an issue with either, but I also don't have Xfinity mobile. Have you tried turning RCS off and seeing if SMS goes through that way? Maybe turning it off and then back on will reset it.</description>

      <description>If all the others are using Google messages you should have rcs i would check in settings at top rcs chat should see green at top by number next i would goto apps in settings and down to Google messages tap that scroll down abit and tap storage tap the clear cache and restart phone</description>

      <description>I couldn't get RCS to work on Google Messages when I got my S26U. I just wanted to try it, then I disabled it I installed Samsung Messages, and RCS worked immediately.</description>

Go to the Play Store and get the app "Net Monster" (temporarily). Open it after allowing functions, then click on the hamburger menu, click on Phone info.Then click on the 3 vertical dots on the top right and then click on "IMS Service Status" . In the small popup look next to the IMS registration and if it says unregistered, that will be a specific carrier issue. Call them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If RCS isn't working, that is a Google-side issue, but if SMS isn't working, that's on your carrier.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here are some steps to try that typically resolve these kinds of errors:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Open GMessages&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Profile icon&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Message Settings&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; RCS Chats&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Turn OFF&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Visit the GMessages Play Store Listing&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; uninstall updates&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Go to Settings » apps » 3 dots, top right » show system apps» Carrier Services » Storage » Clear Cache&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;THEN&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Go to Settings » apps » Google Messages » Storage » Clear Cache&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Do not update again yet&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Open GMessages&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Profile icon&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Message Settings&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; RCS Chats&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; Turn ON&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This generally forces a reset and resolves provisioning errors&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once RCS is re-registered, re-update your app.</description>

      <description>You can turn off RCS on Google messages and turn it back on to re register. That usually helps me with messaging issues !!</description>
