    <description>&lt;P&gt;After re-reading the OP's original post, I think what they are trying to say is that they don't like the either/or option for the button to be either the assistant or power off.&amp;nbsp; It appears one can either use the side button to either activate the assistant or for the power off function, not both. And, apparently, one can no longer swipe down from the corner to activate the assistant (I didn't even know this was a thing, since I don't use the assistant).&amp;nbsp; It may be different on the new UI, but I can activate the assistant (or Gemini) by long pressing the "home" button on the nav bar. At some point I had to the choice to either choose to activate the assistant or use circle to search.&amp;nbsp; I chose circle to search.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
