S25 charging issues?

Got the phone on feb 6th, everything has been fine. last night, the 10th, I went to plug the charging cable in and it didn't do anything. I wiggled the charger closest to the phone and it popped up as charging. I moved the phone and it stopped charging. finally it started charging and continued charging no matter how I moved the phone or the cable.

earlier, the 11th, I went to charge it again. it did the same thing.

the cable seems to work fine on the s23 ultra and my brothers a54.

I will plug it in 2 more times. if I feel like the phone is the issue I'm going to initiate a return and re-buy an entire new phone.

but is anyone else having any issues like this?

Very slow charging S25U

I have charged both my S24U and my S25U using the same charger. And the S25U is significantly slower and the battery drain much faster.

Did you recently buy the S25U? It could be possible that it's learning your phone usage to meet the battery requirement. Also, did you enable "Fast Charging" And "Super Fast Charging" in settings?

I received it over a week ago from pre order. It should have finished the learning phase by now. Fast charging is already enabled.

It could take up to two or three weeks. Remember, you recently got a new phone. And now the phone's trying to learn usages to satisfy the user.

It's hard to diagnose any potential issues due to the variability of settings, individual phone usage, app foreground/background usage and permissions, etc.

Might be port issue try the diagnostic test it has charging and USB test

Are you using a 45 watt Samsung charger ? Is the charge cable the one included with the phone ?

yes and no. it's Samsung brand but from T-Mobile store. (the phone is carrier unlocked) I will be using the included cable next time I try to charge.

I just plugged the cable in and it was fine so I don't know what the issue is!

I had my fast charging go out on a charger I bought not a Samsung. I bought a Samsung charger at a box store and now I get notified of Super Fast charging. I also bought a couple of USB charge / data cables c to c.

You got the right equipment for wired charging. Are you going to check out wireless charging ?
