topic Re: Disappointed 1st Impression S25 Ultra in Galaxy S25

If you are still within your return window, I would suggest sending it back for a refund. Everyone should be satisfied with their devices according to how they expected them to function, especially when considering the price. This is my first new phone in 3 years for me as I could not see spending the money on the S23-24 Ultras that were not really anything better.

While my initial thoughts kinda leaned towards returning this purchase, I did however opt to keep it as it does take better pictures, is super fast, and the mobile connections is off the wall incredible, and I mean nothing like I have ever before had (I've been with the same carrier to three years now). The Ai features are really good, battery is off the wall long and it is overall way faster.

So, for me, I think it is worth it but not a huge leap over the S24 or even the 23, but that is me. My data transfers were very good just like when I went from a Note 8 to an S10, then the S21 Ultra (which my wife has and will not give it up, she loves it that much), to the S22 Ultra to now with the S25 Ultra.

I get some of the disappointments with features being removed, changed etc, but all of those were known pre-release that those were actual things advertised to not be included. So, while they are disappointing, to buy the phone then complain about them is weird and I do not mean that personally. Many other complaints regard aesthetics or customizations that are purely subjective things. The things that should matter is the actual functionality of the device and that it works as sold.

Yes, there are some legit issues that people legit experienced/are experiencing, but that was with the previous Samsung releases, this is nothing new. But in my reading so far after 3 weeks, I am kinda surprised at how it is not as pronounced in legit complaints than what I saw on the S21-22 and what I read in the 23 and 24 forums here.

Always do what is best for you.
