Look in you trash can!

Open your My Files app the trash can is right there.

So in My Files>Internal storage, you don't see a Notifications Folder?

Impossible to delete system sounds without rooting your phone. They are to the best of my knowledge read only.

These were custom notification sounds, apparently the whole folder. IDK

I manage to recover one only because I remember the name of the sound. This is the only one I see under my file notification folder as well.

It should have gone in you trash folder.
Did you give any of the custom tones a name?
