It's a nice device, a little bit faster than the S25U. But the video recording lags hopefully it will be improved with an update and it's missing a basic text app. You will have to use a third-party app.

Screen glitches. Not often though. While watching videos another previously watched video will pop up and play in a small window on top of the current video. Kind of like picture in picture. But that is disabled. No way to stop the video except to end both

Same here honestly. I didn’t expect it either but I’m liking the S26 Ultra way more than my S25 Ultra.

The privacy screen feature is lowkey one of my favorites, and the camera feels more refined too. Everything just feels smoother overall. Definitely a solid upgrade in my opinion 🔥

I’m right there with you. The S26 Ultra feels like Samsung finally tightened all the little things better thermal management, cleaner camera output, and the battery endurance is noticeably stronger. I wasn’t expecting it to outshine the S25 Ultra this much, but it really does in day‑to‑day use especially as a content creator!!

Sounds more like an app issue than screen glitches. You have to check your background apps permission and use Nice Catch in Good Lock to see which of the apps is doing it. If it's the same app pushing another video, you may want to make sure it doesn't have permission to change system settings.

I wanted to hold off until the 27 but glad I got the 26U. No complaints at all. Just hoping it stays free of major bugs. I honestly think it's the first Ultra since S23U with few bugs/hardware issues - my opinion, of course.

No the screen glitches when not using anything. No apps just pick up to use and the screen starts flashing.

I know you have another post about the same issue but have you done device diagnostics, start it in safe mode and of course, the usual cache partition wipe?

It's funny to say, but my favorite difference is how thin it is compared to my S25 Ultra lol I use mine to film a lot of videos (like concert/event videos) and I love how lightweight it is now.

I am also having trouble with the Google message app and an app that I use for my grandson's school. They show I have unread messages in the notifications but there are none. I have to keep force stopping to get rid of the notifications
