I'm not one to usually complain, yet alone come to a forum to do so, but I know Samsung is reading this and I truly hope they take heed for future models.

I just upgraded to the S26 Ultra from an S23 Ultra. I honestly didn't want to upgrade, but my battery life was getting pretty bad, so it was time.

Since having the S26 Ultra, I hate to say, but I miss my S23 Ultra. 3 main reasons why:

Loss of Bluetooth S-Pen. This is a HUGE step back for me. I used this function religiously. From taking pictures, to controlling music/media, etc. I honestly didn't realize how much I used it until I got the S26 Ultra.

Loss of S-View cases/covers. I always have a flip cover for my phone and without the S-View function, the screen doesn't automatically turn on or off with the cover anymore. It's quite annoying.

S-Pen accuracy. This is by far the most egregious downgrade. I've used the S-Pen all the back to the Note 2. This S-Pen is by far the least accurate of any of the phones I've had. I'm finding myself having to tap or swipe multiple times for the screen to react. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to use my fingers out of frustration. Further, I've noticed there's no way to calibrate or the improve the accuracy anymore.

If I could go back to the S23 or S24 with a new battery, I happily would.

Samsung, I hope you're reading this and take heed.

I feel your pain as well. I didn't want to upgrade to the S26 Ultra. My previous phone was the S25 Ultra and before that the S23 Ultra and so on. I have to say the S23 Ultra was the one phone and I miss it. The S25 Ultra is a good phone too and I didn't want to let go and here I am with the S26 ultra. My emotions are half positive and half negative. I feel like there's some specs that are good but they have miss what the Note/Ultra was about and that sucks.

It is a step backwards. Im still using a s24 ultra and it felt a true "last best phone", and theres barely any good reason to "upgrade" well in this case "update" the phone.
