That's a fair point! However, this concept is specifically for high-security environments and corporate sectors where cameras are strictly prohibited for privacy reasons. Currently, people in those fields have to use low-end devices or physically remove cameras. A 'Clean Edition' Ultra would provide flagship power and a premium screen without compromising security protocols. It’s all about professional choice! 🛡️

Hi community!

What if Samsung released an Ultra version with NO rear cameras?

The Vision: A completely smooth, flat back. No "camera bump", no wobble on the table.

The Goal: For users who only care about the screen and high-quality video calls using the standard S26 Ultra front camera.

Who is it for? Business professionals and people who prioritize minimalism and ergonomics over mobile photography.

A hugh end phone with no rear camera would flop on the market. Samsung would never release one. Not even LG circa 2016 would do something like that.

In an environment where cameras are restricted for security reasons, I imagine so would recording devices, which a phone certainly is. Environments like that usually have electronics lock boxes and landline phones.

Great point! However, many modern 'Secure Facilities' are moving towards allowing camera-less smart devices for internal communication (Slack, Teams, Email). The main issue isn't the microphone, but the visual leak of sensitive data. A flagship without cameras would be a perfect bridge for professional productivity in restricted zones. 🚀"

In that case, there should not be a front camera either, as anyone can take a photo of sensitive designs over their shoulders. In any case, neither Samsung nor any other manufacturer is likely to implement this type of design, unless they add it to their business lines, and there would have to be sufficient corporate interest to do so. There is a history of companies commissioning specially adapted phones from manufacturers provided a) they are willing to pay the price, b) can guarantee "x" amount of units purchased. BTW, sensitive data can also be leaked via microphone - people never talk about what they are working on in a collaborative environment?
