topic After 6 years of not updating and very disapointed in Galaxy S26

I upgraded from the Galaxy Note 20, and this honestly feels like a downgrade in everyday usability. I expected improvements, but instead many features that made Samsung stand out are now missing or harder to use. Screen sensitivity The screen is overly sensitive. When taking screenshots, the screen shifts easily, making it difficult to capture exactly what I want. Voice commands (Bixby / Google Assistant) Voice commands are still unreliable. I often have to repeat commands or hold the button anyway. This defeats the purpose of hands-free use, especially in noisy environments. S Pen downgrade The S Pen no longer supports taking pictures remotely. This was a very useful feature. Removing it forces users to buy a separate Bluetooth remote, which feels like a step backward. Text selection in messages Using Google Messages is frustrating. Selecting part of a message is inconsistent or unavailable, forcing me to copy entire texts instead of just what I need. Navigation and gestures Switching between split screen and full screen is not smooth. It requires more effort than it should and feels less intuitive than previous Samsung models. Design and bulk The phone feels thicker and bulkier. The Note 20 was much sleeker. This device feels heavier and less comfortable to hold, almost like a step toward a less ergonomic design. Call management (Call waiting) Handling calls is less convenient. Instead of simple options, I have to answer a call and then go back to hang up, which adds unnecessary steps

Samsung used to stand out for convenience and smart features. This phone feels like it removed many of those small but important details that made daily use easy. At this point, I genuinely miss my Note 20 and regret upgrading.

For the past 5 or 10 years the advancement in phone tech across the board has been small, incremental steps and not such an obvious leap as in days gone by.

It was good, however, that you upgraded in that the Note 20 was probably no longer receiving security updates, leaving your phone and personal data vulnerable.

I hope that you learn to love your new phone as much as the old phone that you had.
