Dexcom is the one to blame. They have been years behind in updating their system to support newly released phones. An expensive product with a bad IT team

The S26 Ultra role out is the WORST ever. How can you spend so much time in prep and not have critical apps compatible before release? And if not, at least publish cautions! I switched to the S26 Ultra assuming Samsung had its act together, just to find out my Dexcom G7 blood sugar monitor is NOT supported, my Medtronic Pacemaker monitor is NOT supported! People use Smartphones for life support applications now and I find it irresponsible for Samsung to not consider this during role out!

You will need to contact those app manufacturers and ask them for an update or solution which is compatible with the S26.

Yes - those that depend on Smartphones to control or monitor any medical device (Insulin Pumps, CGMs. Pacemakers, Loop Recorders etc...) - are very much dependent on companies like Dexcom and Medtronic to test their software in advance - and get the necessary FDA approvals for these new phone models and any new operating systems versions. These companies have done a miserable job at keeping up. It may be many months for them to support these new models.

So YES I too can confirm that neither Dexcom G6 or G7 applications are supported for S26 Ultra yet. (The Dexcom Follow app will function - but is not supported) You will have to purchase a dedicated Dexcom G7 reader device in the interim.

US Medtronic Minimed Mobile users - using their 780G insulin pumps can use the existing software - but it is not tested or supported.

Don't have a workaround for other Medtronic applications.

Well I'm happy to report (for at least the Dexcom G6 & G7 apps) - that Dexcom must have made some backend changes - as I can now use the G6 & G7 apps again (NO changes to the apps were made ). ❤
