S26U insane battery life!

The battery on my 3 day old S26U has been getting some insane battery life!

The adaptive battery toggle has been hidden in the Background usage limits section of the battery page. You have to tap on the 3 dots to turn it on or off now. Default is on!

Yes, that's a lot of SoT, it's a new phone!

You be the judge!

The S26 battery has been good so far

So, it's starting to freak me out how good this battery has been so far and it's still learning my usage. I'm on my second day and still have 30% battery. I think I'm at 6 hours SOT and it's only gonna get better. Yeah, it's better than the 25 ultra was in battery.

Also, yes. That is some insane SoT for a phone. But like you said, it is new. So, it's understandable.

For the second part of my Galaxy S26 review, I want to highlight the design and battery life. Being constantly on the go from hitting the gym to shooting content means I need a phone that can keep up. The battery on the S26 is phenomenal. I can easily get through a full day of heavy use without needing to hunt for an outlet by the afternoon. The display is another massive upgrade. The peak brightness is so high that I can comfortably read the screen outdoors in direct sunlight. Plus, the new matte finish feels incredibly premium and keeps fingerprints away.

So, I'm not sure what they did to this battery but holy moly is it better! I'm getting 10+ hours SOT easy with plenty left in the tank. I went to bed last night with 30% left and 9 hours SOT so it's easily getting me through the day and then some. Whatever Sammy did it's working.

First 3 weeks its learning your habits i.e the battery at about 10 days you will notice improvement at about 14 days will start to show normal battery life
