The ability to edit home screen in landscape mode

Ability to edit home screen in landscape mode. Compared to portrait mode, landscape mode looks much more disorganized, like things were just shuffled all around, with a whole lot of free space that wasn't available on portrait mode.

Editing Portrait Mode shouldn't affect the landscape mode. Instead they should be their own separate thing. If I make a change for both switching back and forth should remember the changes and apply them.

Portrait Mode: Organized with no free space

Landscape Mode: Shuffled, Free Space, painful to look at.

That is a good idea. Perhaps this cna be an adjustment made in the Home Up plugin, or a future UI update. From what I notice in using the two display orientations is that the larger widgets shrink when changed to the landscape, which creates the extra space. Technically, the screen area is the same size regardless of screen orientation, so leaving the widgets and icons the same sizes should fill the gaps.
