There is almost always an app on Android that will give you what you want!

I like my folders, I don't like that Samsung won't let you stack your folders (yet!). I also don't like a lot of pages to swipe through. That's where Samsung is the king of Android skins, stacking widgets let's me have everything I need on 2 pages. On my 2nd screen where you see the large icons, there are actually 8 pop-up folders, 2 stacked on each other.

Home screen there are 2 stacks, icons on the bottom with favorites turned off I have 4 that I can swipe through. Right above that are 2 widgets, 1 is weather forecast which when opened takes me to Samsung weather. The second widget that says "Your short Cuts" has been mapped to all my financial apps..No one need know what they are. The top widget with time and date takes me to my calender.

How many pages do you have?

You can't do this on a Pixel or a fruit phone!

I'm a one page kind of guy. I like one fairly simple area with all my essentials.

The only problem is I keep waffling back and forth between light & colorful vs moody & monochrome!

I use the Glass Widget version of the app you are using.

It is such a great app. I have 4 of the horizontal folders on my home screen.

Are you using Folder Widget where the large Icons are?

I really hope they release the stacked folder feature, it will be a welcomed addition to the organization of my rig. I keep it simple at the moment, one page, stacked widgets, some others and my edge panel for all else.

I really need Samsung to allow us to remove the dock.. But make it difficult to remove the dock so that if anyone does it, is not by mistake. I like my clean look, but I want the buttery smoothness of the One UI launcher... Still can't find a replacement for Nova launcher, I've tried! 😂

I have my dock turned off using HomeUp from Goodlock

I used Nova Launcher for years because of hidden folders. I now have that. I use Ui One exclusively because of stacked widgets.

"Dock" is what it's called in iOS/MacOS. Probably trying to avoid litigation from the fruit co. Hotseat is actually what it's called in the Android source code.

one of my favorite things is the lock screen potential. with modes and routines and macrodroid you can make shortcuts for virtually anything. with lockStar I also have 6 camera/AR apps instantly available, and notistar is helpful to sort your notifications into categories similar to the old "conversations, alert, and silent" filters. I could never go back to another brand! Every time I use someone else's phone, I'm grasping at the sides trying to pull controls with OHO+ and they think I'm crazy lol

It was called a dock in the early days of Android and custom launchers have always used that term. Samsung likes to use non-standard terminology to differentiate themselves (ex: quick panel vs quick settings).

Interesting, I was under the impression that Apple owned the patent for "the dock," turns out their patent is specifically for the dock magnification feature on MacOS.

I hate Google messages that the 25 edge uses. On my 25 ultra i still have Samsung messages, even though it told me Google was the new one. Samsung messages let's you save favorites at the top for easy access. Google message just jumbled them all together. I've tried other messaging apps & none have even close to Samsung messages. I wouldn't know in the Google store, as I can't use it. I hit the update & everything freezes. I have to reboot with the buttons because I can't get to the off button on the top
