Pressing the Power Button on the S26U shows a weird screen effect

I'm not sure how to describe this, but it's only on the S26U that I've had a few days now. When the AOD is on (black screen with the time) and I press the power button, the screen turns on, but it lights up going from the power button on the right side over to the left side. It's about a fraction of a second, but I've found it really annoying and can't find any way to disable it, so that just the entire screen will power on (not right to left) like if you double tap the screen. I don't have any unlock animations either.

Sounds like an effect from one of the goodlock modules..I have animated mine. I think the module is wonderland.....I cannot exactly remember.

Wonderland is animated for wallpapers, I don't even have that installed. There is the normal Unlock Animation but that is also turned off.

Basically if the screen is off and I press the power button on the side, the screen turns on from the right side (where the power button is) to the left side.

Check LockStar for an unlock animation. A bunch have been added. I tried to capture a preview of the effect I think you described.

Unfortunately that's not it (I actually have it turned off). It's not an "unlock animation". It's when pressing the power button and the display powers on from the right to the left.
