S26 ultra. Media ouput

I need help figuring out how i can switch playing my music from android auto to my earbuds. If that makes sense? Just recently switched from iphone. Tried the Bluetooth settings and media output. It says connected but doesnt do the switch. Tysm in advance.

What works best for me is swipe down from the top and tap on "Media Output" and choose where you want your audio directed!

I am having the issue where I tap on "Media Output" and instead of being able to change devices like my S24 would, it instead brings me to my lock screen.
