S26 ultra severe battery issues

*Edit* my issues seem to have been resolved either by the security update on Wednesday or once the phone settled down after setup. Im leaning more toward the update because it changed so much right after. Either way, its working fantastic now. 3/12

I am facing extremely terrible battery life. The numbers don't even add up. I listen to Spotify with my phone in my pocket while at work. Within 2 hours it drained from 100% to 15%. Screen off. That shouldn't happen. Then, charging it in my car as I drove to my next job. Charging says it will take 1 hours to hit 100%. After 20 mins in the car, it went from 15% to 17%. Insane. Then walking around with it in my pocket, no Spotify, occasional screen use, in 10 mins it dropped to 5%??

I got my phone two days ago . Charged my phone to 100%, then let it drain to to 28%. Charged it to 90% couple hours before bed. Woke up this morning battery is at 50% already this normal battery says still learning patterns. Any help would be greatful.

It will take a while for the adaptive battery to learn how you use your phone. You're also using it more (whether you think you are or not) because you're exploring all of its features.

I don't use the adaptive battery option personally. And make sure your charging isn't set to stop at a certain level and then continue, it's in the battery settings.

What do you mean you don't use it? It's not like you can turn it off. That's how the battery functions.

As @Mujibar said the first 3 weeks the battery is learning your habits to be brief about 10 to 12th day you should start seeing improvements more

Hi all,

Got my phone a couple days ago. Ever since the first day, when I hook up my fast charger from my S24 Ultra, my S26 says its super fast charging, shows a quick ETA, but doesn't charge. I've noticed this every time.

The ETA never changes. It always says its super fast, but it isnt. I can leave it plugged in all night and it won't fully charge or even close to it. Do I have a defective phone from factory?

Honestly I recommend to try different chargers and wall boxes and see if that helps. I got my self a cable from Linus Tech tips pair with an 60w anker wall box and it's super fast . Take an hour or some minutes 15% to 100%

Agree with @charlie2026 I would recommend try another charger and make sure 60W rating. It takes me 45 min from 28% to 100%

You're not the only one. I get at least 7 hours or 6 hours in total from 100-10%. I have almost every app on deep sleep, force stop, battery restricted, and notifications off. Its terrible.

got the same issue with my s22 ultra, it only lasts like 3 to 6 hours, i'm afraid there's no fix besides a battery replacement if it persists.

It's most certainly in need of an update. I toggled power saver and that helps. But I shouldn't need that. There's obviously some background process that's running amok.

Same problem here; the battery drains really fast.
From 5 a.m. to 2 p.m., with light use, it dropped to 26%.
