Voicemail app

I am getting very frustrating with the S26 Ultra. First they got rid of the Samsung Message app. Now I noticed I missed the voicemail app. Before on the S25 Ultra, I can go directly to the voicemail app to check my voicemail. Now I can't. Where can I find and reinstalled the app? I tried Samsung app store and Google app store, not there. Please help.

Do you have a carrier device?

I have Verizon and have no issues with setting up my native built-in voicemail app on my unlocked S26U.

No. I got mine unlocked from Samsung. My carrier is Verizon. But my phone is unlocked.

@littlecloudgz The Samsung Voicemail app comes Pre-Installed on Unlocked U1 Devices purchased directly from Samsung. If you purchased your device from your Carrier you need to use the Voicemail app provided by your carrier.

When you go to settings, apps, and search for voicemail you can't find it there?

Something is not right, I have no issue and have my voicemail app and I have two Sim, At&t and Tmobile

My s25 ultra has that pre installed. Now on s26, I can't find it and can't install it back.

Go to phone app and then setting, do you see both direct VM and VM? Click and VM and see it needs setup, mine just transfered from my S25U , but when I had S24U to S25U I think it went away for a while and then the did update, but this seems like you have something not setup correctly locally

I can't for the life of me understand why it is not on your phone.

Did you also try to search for it toggling on show system apps?
To do this go to apps from your settings page, where it says your apps, on the righthand side you will see a 3 line icon, tap on that and toggle on show system apps and see if it is there.

I turned off all the security settings, and allow unknown source app to be installed. But I can't install the app.

You need to contact Samsung and figure out why this is happening!

Can you take a screenshot of your about phone software page and see if it matches up with mine. We are both on unlocked using the same provider.

Another question are you on a post paid or prepaid plan?
Post paid is unlimited plan.

How did you go directly to
voicemail before the S26U, it's an earnest question?

I have only known two ways to activate at it manually outside of having it in the notification shade. Either holding the #1 down on the phone app number pad activating it. Or, in the phone app, open settings/ voicemail & toggle on visual voicemail., though that does not create a shortcut or app like feature. Call Verizon, I could be wrong on this.

A workaround is to create a new contact, name it voicemail, then add the voicemail phone number to it, save it. Then create a home screen shortcut & expand it so it shows the phone icon.
