S26 Ultra Overheating issue

I recently upgraded from the the S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra. It worked well initially, but I've noticed error message of overheating and camera shutting down. Anyone else havomt this issue?

First I would like to ask are you using a charger that is made specifically for this phone? Another question does the phone get hot when you receive message notifications?

Yes, I am using the charger specific to my phone. No, it doesn't get hot when a message notification is received.

I have a galaxy 22 ultra and in the past 6 months the camera app will shut down, and also seems to be causing my phone to heat up. So its not just you!

Mine also gets blazing hot along with the wifi issues, as in doesn't stay connected and very slow. Under 20mb down

S26 Ultra random overheating

I have experienced my S26 ultra overheated randomly in my pocket so I had to turn it off. I was also using Android Auto running Waze and a Radio app, when my phone wss in the inner pocket of my coat. I had to turn it off to cool down. I did not have this experience with my s22 ultra

I've experienced this as well with my S26 ultra. I had it about a week before it randomly overheated (it was sitting on my desk). Then it did again while I was listening to audible. Never had that problem with my S24 ultra.

Absolutely. I'm noticing that taking pictures seems to cause my phone to overheat. It is not plugged in so it's not the charger causing the issue.

I also upgraded from the S24 ultra to the S26 ultra. My phone was 11 days old when it severly overheated. I even got a minor burn on my hand when I picked it up off the table. I couldn't even hold it. The phone was never dropped, wet or damaged in any way. I only use an authentic Samsung cord and power block. I even purchased the Samsung fast charging block that specifically went to this S26. My phone was sent back to Samsung for replacement. I am currently waiting. It has been a slow process. I have purchased nothing but Samsung for many years and this is the first time I have had an issue. I hope Samsung fixes this issue so others don't go through the same thing. It is upsetting when you buy something new, only made one payment and it is defective. I want to use my new phone 😪
