Non of that changes anything. OP would need to downgrade to an S23 series phone to get what they want. Everything changed S24 and onwards.

Not sure what to do but I'm very disappointed in the display on my new Samsung S26+ phone. I had three S25+ renewed phones that I could not get to work due to auto update issues on T-Mobile network. So I know the 25+ very well and comparing how it's display to the 26+ is very different, night and day worse. The 26+ is dull and washed out even after I set to Vivid and all the colors and everything at maximums, it's still nowhere near the display of the 25+. Has anyone figured out how to get the 26 plus to look like the 25 plus?

Are you saying you have an s26 plus and an s25 plus and you're able to compare the display? I ask because I have both of them here side by side and they're exactly the same and I even bumped up on the 26th all of the settings the Vivid the brightness the colors everything and it's still 25 to 40% less colorful

Same with the S24 Ultra the colors are more vivid then the S26 Ultra. Samsung needs to push an update to update the vividness slider so we get more saturation on the 26 series.

What about toggling off the adaptive color tone settings in the display settings and/or turning off the eye comfort shield, etc? I don't own any S26 model but I looked up the issue and these are changes that can be made. If making these changes still does not make the screen vividness the same as the previously owned S25+ modesl, return it for a refund.

The color on my S26 is NOT more natural than my S21. The S26 appears unable to properly render red. So red in photos and icons appears as brown. Photos taken by the S26 are great when viewed on another device like my S21 or Panasonic 65" screen. But when viewed on the S26 everything appears in sepia tones. Display adjustments do not help.

I think I might have solved this problem. Turn off the enhanced comfort setting in the display settings.
