Open settings/connections/mobile networks then toggle on and off all 4 toggle from Roaming down to "Allow 2G service" to finishing with all on (Roaming not necessary). Then go to settings/general management/reset/reset mobile network settings and reset that. Restart the device and see how that works.

I am not getting any 5G on my new S26 Ultra. I have compared it side by side with my old S24 Ultra. The S24 gets 5G essentially everywhere, and the S26 has not showed 5G a single time. Not even in high signal areas in which the S24 would be at full bars. It only shows 4G on the S26.

I have toggled 5G off and then back on in connection/network settings. I have toggled airplane mode on and off. I have restarted. Nothing has worked.

Is anyone else experiencing this??

Are you using an eSIM or physical SIM card? Have you alerted your carrier yet? There may be a misconfiguration from the carrier servers. As you know, cellular data is a carrier service.

I can't imagine that your phone is missing the latest modem that is on other S26s, but it is possible.

That would be a carrier issue. If your cellphone provider doesn't get 5g or your cellphone plan isn't 5g compatible. Call your phone carrier

It's an eSIM. Just activated it today, and it came from Samsung.com, so I have not had a chance to contact the carrier. I will do so. Thank you for your feedback.

Provider and plan are both 5G compatible, as the S24 I still have exhibits good 5G connectivity in the same location(s). I will contact the carrier. Thank you for the feedback.

One more thing to do is to check for issues. Open the Device care app, scroll down to "Diagnostics", click it and run it. If there is an error with the networks because of the device it should show up. If that comes up as an issue then Samsung would be the one to call. Otherwise your carrier needs to address that.
