AirDrop doesn't work on S26 after update

I have 2 devices nearby: S26 ultra with latest update with AirDrop support and iPhone 17 running iOS 26.4

My current settings are on screenshots below (everything is turned on according obvious logic and official guides, but sharing is not working. The samsung mobile phone is not showing up in receivers on iPhone and doesn't see any apple devices.

What I has already tried: s26 reboot, iPhone reboot, Google Play services update rollback and install again. None of this fixed the problem. I don't want to factory reset a phone which is less 1 month old.

Does anyone have the same?

Im not entirely sure but im pretty sure you can only SEND files to iPhone i don't think you can send files from iPhone to Samsung only Samsung to iPhone so receive wouldnt work you have to do send

You have to make sure you have the latest Quick Share Extension from Google.

Go to Settings, Google Services, All Services, look for any updates there. There should be one for Quick Share Extension.

I can confirm it works both ways for me, S26U to iPad, iPad to my phone. My iPad is slow to recognize my phone.

Quick Share Extension is 13.8.51.30 (otherwise it wouldn't show Share with Apple devices settings).

I don't see update functionality in Settings > Google Services > All Services. Opening and checking all of them didn't add anything to update either in Play Store, or in Galaxy Store. So everything is up to day.

@mrb4el That does not prevent spoofing the exposed email. Anyone can use that address in the 'from' field of their email client to start spamming with it. They don't need to login directly to that email address at all to do that. Email providers like Google and Microsoft have systems that flag accounts that are used in high spam volumes coming form their domains. If enough spam gets reported using that address, their systems can suspend or cancel that account, regardless of whether or not one is using a 2FA. This is not about about a nefarious person getting in; it's about someone making it look like that is the account that is spamming.

Try turning on send to apple devices toggle.it is located in Quick share settings.Also if that doesn't work try restarting both devices and turning wifi off and on a few times.Wifi has to be enabled for it to work properly.
