Need help on the Voice-To-Text feature on s26. Im using the Samsung Keyboard with Samsungs Voice-to-Text feature enabled. This this is so bad, it litteraly enters entire sentences I've never said. How do i make this stupid thing more accurate? No, I do not want to use Googles keyboard or voice input option. I rather a custum one if thats even possible?

The response for holding the side button when using voice to text is a sound, and on my previous s23 it was a vibrational feedback response with silent sound. How do i get this silent sound with vibration feedback on s26?

Why would they remove that mechanic and how to fix?

S26 is such a let down. They force you to use all google native or embedded applications. Samsung even removed their appset like text messages. Then they lock it down so you can customize anything. The entire phone is a GOOGLE AI embedded lockbox. If you want to use anything other than Googles products, you might as well get a new phone. Why is this even called Samsung Galaxy? Should be called Google Phone 2.

Samsung's voice-to-text is not quite as polished as Google's voice-to-text. While you state you do not want to use Google voice typing, this is generally considered the solution to your issue.

You could try a third party keyboard solution such as Swiftkey which uses Microsoft's proprietary voice-to-text.

To your point about Google being "embedded" in your phone:

Unfortunately, you have purchased the wrong device if you do not want to use Google.

Your Samsung device's operating system is Android. Android is a Google Product and therefore requires Google Apps and services to function.

If you do not want to use Google apps or services, you will need to purchase a non-android phone.

For your VTT issue, I would suggest you check out Wispr Flow in the Play store. It's in early access but its blown me away at hot goit it is. It even handles punctuation for you! Their free tire is good enough for most people, I think.

Do you know if there's a way to modify the Samsung side button so it can use Flow instead of Google or Samsung VTT?

You could possibly make a routine to use a button action to open the Wispr Flow app, but that's all it will do is open the app. While you can talk a statement in the app, you would still have to copy and paste into the app you are using. That's why it uses the "display on top" accessibility action. Since it's a third party app, I am not sure Samsung will ever integrate it as an action, or if the developer wants or would allow such integration. You might try contacting the developer. Right now the app is early access, which I translate to mean that you can try it and love it now for free, but later we will start charging. If they ever start charging users for it, then integration would be a problem. If they licensed the tech to Google or Samsung, that would be a different story.
