Trade-in recieved??

So, Sammy got my s25 Ultra on the 18th but I still don't have any updates on them confirming it. I hate having that 900 hanging over my head. Anyone else having this?

As long as you have the tracking showing you dropped the phone off and it was delivered you're good. I hope you took video of the phones condition before you sent it.

Sometimes it takes a ridiculous amount of time for them to evaluate trade-in devices. I hope you have pics or video of what you sent in.

I have pics and video of the whole process and I know they have it. It just hasn't been touched since it got there. Every other time it went pretty fast. It was in mint condition so no worries there. I won't play that game with em haha I just don't know why it's taking so long

Waiting is the hardest part. I was able to trade in with Best Buy this time around. I got part of the trade-in allowance right away (refunded by the store), but I had to wait for BB online to refund the rest. Thankfully, that took less than 72 hours. No shipping a device or waiting for anybody to receive & evaluate it. I highly recommend this process if it's an option for you!

Last time this happened to me, I contacted FedEx and was told that the returns are delivered to a trailer and once the trailer is full, only then it gets delivered to whoever is handling the returns. After that, there is another delay where they actually handle the return. Wish there was a way to return to a local Best Buy store instead for quick appraisal and acceptance.

Yeah that's crazy, every other time (since the 21 series) it's happened fast. This time, not so much.

I do but it's always been super simple to just order through Samsung. Might have to try the BB way next time though.

I got the email 2 days after they received it. The email says 14 business days for evaluation, no matter whether they send you the email, as long as you have confirmation of delivery they have 21 business days to finalize the trade, if they don't do it within that time frame they have to manually complete it.

This has happened to me a few times. I mark on my calendar the day I can start calling them.

I have also have had 3 empty box scenarios which I have always have had proof and gotten them reversed.

I meant @bawaji, but it's cool. This was my first time doing it. Couldn't have been easier. Only catch is you have to encumber the entire cost up front and wait to be refunded. This will obviously take a while with a pre-order, and you can't pick it up until release day.

Start a chat with them on samsung shop. I did and the next day I received an email saying mine has been accepted. Trade in complete

I actually did that just now. They said they have it and it's getting ready for inspection. Wonder it took so long 🤔

I even explained to the guy the previous year someone at samsung tried lying to me saying my s24ultra was damaged and unacceptable so this response will not be accepted this year because I have pictures and videos of mt packaging and dropping it off nicely and safe at UPS

Just my 2 cents but 2 weeks could be average time for trade ins yo get inspected etc given alot of phones could be in with the new models the tome would ve affected

I do. Last time I purchased a tablet from the Samsung website, I was able to pick up the tablet from the BestBuy store. However, they were not accepting trade-ins on the behalf of Samsung. I had to send it in via FedEx. Has that changed?🤞

You will get the refund for the trade-in. In all of my trade-ins with Samsung over 5 devices, I have never had even a blip.

Since the s20 series I've traded in but until I showed them proof and they instantly changed it to full refund. That kinda tainted me. I just want it to go through and not have $900 hanging over my Mellon. That's all.
