When switching to my new carrier and when upgrading to a new phone, my carrier installs a bunch of unwanted and unrequested apps, mostly games. I have to go to each and uninstall it. Today, for no apparent reason, a couple more were installed. Is there a way to block these? Verizon S26.

Sorry. If you have a carrier supplied phone, signing the contract gave them permission to download apps. It's the trade-off for the heavy discount.

Carriers are horrible at this. T-Mobile does it too. That's why I only buy phones Unlocked from the manufacturer. Google Fi sells phones bloat free as well if you have their network.
