Good day all,

Has anyone upgraded from S22 to S26 and find that their S22 pictures were brighter and nicer? Even my skin on selfie looked better on S22...

Has anyone got any advise to achieve the same on S26?

I have been to samsung store with not much help besides advising to look for a filter or play with the settings...but I don't have time to photoshop photos everytime I take them. I am a mom. Just want my pictures to look how they looked on my S22...

It might be the built in privacy screen and the gorilla glass armor making the phones physical screen look worse upload the picture to your laptop or another device it'll look a lot better

I upgraded from the S23U. Pics and images are vibrant and stunning on my S26U's display. I haven't taken many pics, but I've been quite satisfied with the ones I have taken.

I have been playing with the Camera settings and I think there's a bit more set up to get the photos crisp and clear, but to be honest they look great on my phone. And if you look at the photos you take on your S26 from someone else's phone they look pretty great. The best settings for photos are using pro mode and hitting more, then using the filters/Lutz they have available. I find the 200mp Camera to be excellent.

You are use to a glossy screen, it takes some time to get used to it being a little on the matte side. If you want the glossy screen back just get a clear glass screen protector that doesn't have any anti-reflective properties. I absolutely love the display. I never was one for the very vivid look out if the box of Samsung phones, I would always turn in natural.

I agree! I very recently moved from the S22 to the S26, and I immediately couldn't stand the screen, not used to it, gotta get used to it, whatever. Everything looks blurry, dirty for lack of better word and dated on the S26 screen. I still think the S22 pictures and videos were better, but screen doesn't help for sure.

I agree, they immediately looked worse. I was the one that everyone demanded to be the one who took the group pics on my S22, because they always turn out so much better than all the pics take on someone's Apple. Well I just went through that with the new S26. Jennifer, use your phone, pictures are so much better. 1st time around I'm really disappointed. S22 pics were always reliable. 1st set on the S26 with a big group of family relying on them, they suck. Sorry. They look like the Apple phone pics everyone always wants to avoid.
