Heyyy. This issue is basically caused by Samsung’s aggressive battery optimization software, which forces your apps into a deep sleep to save power whenever your screen is off. To fix it, head into Settings, Device Care, Battery, Background Usage Limits and make sure your important apps are added to the "Never Auto Sleeping Apps" list. You should also toggle off "Adaptive Battery" in that same menu, since that system-level AI can preemptively cut your connection to save juice while the phone is idle. Let me know if this works for you!

Is anyone having issues where their notifications are piled up in the background and the phonen will only alert you all at once when you touch or wake the phone? I have turned off all background restrictions and battery optimization options and still can't figure it out.
