I just switched 2 days ago to android after 12 years ios. You are incorrect on this. I been with them every day since siri landed, and seen how terrible of a job they did, and how money hungry they have gotten in the past 3 years. They are no different and this year became worse than the alphabet company demons that they are. Apple is no longer vetting 3rd party connections, nor updates to previously approved apps that have access to system services on the iphone, this means that you can write an app that does very little, needs few permissions and apple approves it. Then days later push an update that now needs full permission to the device (the user must approve that change, but apple doesn't care), the part that is the concern - is that apple does not monitor the transactions of the data whilst it traverses their platform, they simply permit the data to flow right to the crooks. Android has a terrible, but none-the-less, an automated system that...somewhat...tries to inspect code when developers push an update, and if it detects something it will not permit it published. However this is a system, and any system can be understood by humans and thereby circumvented, as has happened numerous times over the years and is the sole reason alphabet company states they are not liable for the use of any 3rd party app. Siri is far more intrusive. Don't believe me? Try to disable one feature. I got my iphone next to me still, laughing at my inability to disable an undesired feature. I am not loving the s26 ultra either, hardware is fine, software....man these companies reek of criminals spying on everything the government is paid to say 'is ok with us'.

I have no interest in another Samsung device until Samsung AI can be entirely turned off. You want to generate revenue for shareholders? Then remove your pointless AI

What will you be using as a phone? All manufacturers are integrating AI into their devices in one way or another. Apple has it, snd any Android brand will still have Gemini.

Probably an iPhone. They do have AI, but Apple has been very successful in implementing their AI because they started off with Siri and everyone else copied them, and it's less intrusive. Siri is actually very capable as an assistant where Bixby completely failed

Lol no? I don't know where you got that idea. A browser browses the web, it's just interfaces with the world wide web. It loads web pages. Unless you're talking about Google Gemini that they added to Chrome but you don't have to use that
