I have the S26 Ultra. I loved it until I put a case on it, and my screen cracked! I thought it was suppose to be durable and the screen wasn't suppose to break easily. Seriously all I did was put the dang phone case on it and it cracked oright on the side of the screen. Not one but spider web cracked it.

I am so sorry to hear that. One of the reasons I always bought Samsung was because I never had a screen crack.

I had my s10 for 5 years. Never cracked. It started over heating, and the screen started to come apart, and the camera lens came off. So I thought it was time for a new phone. I got this one and only have had it 2 weeks.

One, I got off Amazon. It was supposed to protect it from drops and stuff like that.

I guess I should have gotten the defender box one instead of just a hard case one. Lesson learned 😮

Sorry this happened to you. Just like phones, cases are not all the same. You get what you pay for. If you're looking for a rugged case, consider well known brands such as Spigen, OtterBox, Speck, Rokform, and Supcase. There are plenty of others, but those should get you started. Make sure you read the reviews about fit. Some cases can be too constricting, as you unfortunately found out.

That's crazy. I thought Ultra screens were quite durable. It's not a protector that broke, was it? Not sure where you procured your phone.

@userX8RXEZuaoH Samsung will deny any warranty coverage on screen cracks unless proven it was caused by a pre-existing defect; they are very specific about that in their warranty form day one on cracked screens. It seems to me to be seriously unlikely a phone case would cause this unless a good deal of pressure was used trying to get it on the device. Also, I would name the phone case brand maker and type as a warning to others and leave a review on Amazon regarding this.

Take it to a uBreakiFix store which is an official Samsung repair center too and look for a locations that is the nearest. Ask them to really check if there was an already existing defect which could have triggered the crack . Either way they can replace the screen there easily.

A similar thing has happened to me within a few weeks of purchase. I am fuming both Samsung and Spark have been no help, I've had samsung forever and always advocated for them as their screens never Crack, but this essentially cracked on its own and they won't recognize it. To me, a $3000 phone should be durable, so it is their problem. Im not paying another $600 to fix it. Grr!
