Just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem. Bought an s26 ultra on the 2nd was expected on the 8th. Shipped via ups, tracker has updated in about 48hrs then was labeled as delayed no updates since. Called Ups for an update, of course they don't have a clue, call the seller.

Called 2times with widespread results: first person said called this week. Next person said call 10 business days later when the package hasn't arrived.

The package is clearly lost give me my refund and let you two goobers figure it out figure out where it went.

Does anyone have a suggestion to get a refund?

Call the seller and request a refund or replacement shipment if you still want the phone. It may take 3-5 business days for your refund to be approved. If your request for a refund is deneied, then you can dispute the original charge with your financed institution that made the payment, as a charge that was 'paid, but the purchased item was not received'. Save a copy of the tracking information as proof of non-delivery.

However, if approved, it may take up to thirty days for you to receive your refund depending on their billing cycle.

Funny enough i did try that, Samsung is forcing me to wait 10 business days for a refund because it shipped. Which is kinda dumb.

Im not suprised call center people who aren't from the US dont understand shipping logistics

You have to wait 10 business days from expected delivery date when a package is misplaced, to allow for location and delivery of the item. This is standard practice from any company who ships you a product. The transporter has to be given time to investigate and locate. Not defending it, it's frustrating not to have your package on time, but the fact of the matter is packages get placed in wrong trucks, there are bottlenecks in transfer points, trucks get hijacked, etc. Delivery dates are never set in stone, although most things are delivered when stated. Once the package is handed off to the shipper, it's out of Samsung's control. Now, if it never left Samsung's facility, that's a different issue.

Well yeah, if they send you the refund and you receive the item, then they're out both the item and the cost. They can't rely on your trustworthiness to return either.

It's worse than that. Most companies do not have a mechanism in place to accept a returned refund, and we all know that the contents of trade in parcels have disappeared, so it's likely returned merchandise goes through those same centers. One could refuse the delivery, but that's often not possible either, as the delivery people rarely ring the bell and self-certify delivery (yes, even if a signature is required - they just forge it).

As a former employee of FedEx for 14 years, if you take the unopened package to your local FedEx office and say 'I want to refuse this package, please.' They will code it as refused and return it to the shipper of record. Same is true with UPS.

Then in that case, call their 800 number and tell them that you canceled the order and were told to refuse it at the door, but it was delivered without a signature anyway, then ask for a courier to retrieve it due to your inability to travel to their location.

Sure, because calling FedEx or UPS is *always* such a pleasure. Probably can refuse delivery in the app, if one is signed up for MyFedEx or MyUPS. When you get notified of delivery status, I think I remember an option to refuse or redirect the delivery. But, not everyone has signed up for that service (likely because they don't know about it).
