Magnifier Help

I upgraded to a Fold 5 from a S8 and during set up I must have made a wrong choice. I'm legally blind an set up magnifier. I gave something permission and now when I click on magnifier my camera opens and is in magnifier mode. I checked camera app, no permissions turned on. I cannot find how to check magnifier permissions. Nor have I found how to reset magnifier without doing factory reset. I really don't want to start all over.

Hello Lgtning, Welcome to the Community. We understand how frustrating it is when the settings change the function of the phone undesirably.

Have you looked under Settings>Accessibility>Visibility Enhancements?

Scroll down to Magnifier and tap on that. There should be a toggle to turn off or on the Magnifier shortcut that uses the camera.

In Accessibility have more options for help with the vision. There's some settings that shows the magnifier for when ever is need it. Great phone with alot of options. Also settings to read you who's calling. Read you article and so on. ENJOY YOUR NEW DEVICE GREAT CHOICE.. 👍✨

I click on Magnifier and rhe only choice is to toggle shortcut on or off.

I turned option off and magnification on and all works. I will try the read options soon. Thanks.

@Lgtning Toggle the setting off. This should stop the magnifier from using the camera.

Magnification may be a better option. You can add a shortcut to the navigation bar on the phone and when accessed, the window can be moved around the screen if necessary.

Your menus can be difficult to find the way through tho app that does nothing but gets on the way when i touch the screen and ot is there i dont recall installing it and i dont even remember it untill some upgrade
