Hi Everyone,

My fold 4 started randomly crashing when i open it. I tried to restart and used diagnostic tool to check. Still not working. Fortunately, the outer screen still works. I now feel I made big mistake by purchasing this.

Kindly try these steps, it might work. With the phone off, press and hold Power and Volume up buttons until the Samsung logo disappears. Using volume keys, highlight Wipe cache partition, and then power to select and confirm on the following screen. Returning to the original menu, use volume to navigate to Repair apps, and then power again to select. This will reindex all your apps.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, I highly recommend taking your device to your closest Samsung authorized service center, like uBreakiFix, for further evaluation. Diagnostics are typically free. If there's no obvious screen damage, it's possible the device just needs the OS reflashed. They will be able to tell you for certain.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung
