Z Fold 5 can't cast screen to Chromecast

Hello everyone

I have a Z Fold 5 and I can not cast its screen to chromecast.

Strangely all other functions such as casting from Apps work fine.

The Google home app.shows the chromecast device as well.

When I try to cast my phone's screen it says my device is not optimized and experience may differ but still when I press cast my screen nothing happens.

I have also made surebthe Google play services app has all the permissions.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

It turned out my chromecast was too old and not getting the latest updates.
Bought a new one and everything is perfect now.

wierd im using zfold 5 but my connecting to my hisense 2023 google tv works with casting the apps and remote

checked the system update and its up to date i also tried uninstalling and reinatalling the home app
