"Protect Battery"

Has anyone noticed or had this happen after the recent update? Even after selecting "protect Battery" my Fold 5 charges to 100% anyway.

Hello Rahsaan, Thanks for reaching out. We understand the concern with the battery continuing to charge to 100% when using battery protect.

Did you tap on the toggle that turns on battery protect and change the setting from Basic to Maximum?

With the Basic setting, the phone will still charge to 100%. The Adaptive setting charges the phone while you are sleeping and switches back to basic during waking hours. Maximum restricts the charging to 80%.

Thanks, I didn't realize this was obviously another change with the update. There are various options and one of them is 80% as it used to be 85%....got it.
