Update stopped hearing aids connecting

I completed the recent Android UI update on 2/5. Since then, no functionality for my Rexton hearing aids. Show as BT connected, but can't hear notifications, ringtones, audio, phone call conversations, etc. Took to hearing aid retailer and they couldn't fix, said phone problem. #hearing aids

I would just like the software to be compatible to my hearing aids. Everytime I get a notification, it reverts the setting to "everyday" (which is amplified loudness)for the notification sound and then goes back after the soundbit is done. It causes me to have vertigo at times. They say it doesn't do this on Apple devices, only android.

Have you tried changing the Bluetooth AVRCP version? From either 1.5 to 1.6 or 1.4? The hearing aid software may need to be updated as well. Reset the app, unpair the hearing aid, then try connecting/pairing after you change the AVRCP version.
