RCS not working

I installed a trial theme on my phone and switch to Samsung messages to see how the seam would look but once the trial was over it switched me back to Google messages and since then RCS is not working I can't reply or see any group messages now. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try clearing the app caches by going to Settings > Apps > Messages > Storage > Clear cache.

If this doesn't work, visit the gMessages play store page and uninstall updates, then re-install.

I have the same problem. Its because they took off RCS messaging unless you use google messaging app.

Hmm... Try clearing device cache via recovery mode (see the guide if you need assistance: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871?src=ShareByUserCM) and repeat my previous steps. If the issue persists, you may try contacting your carrier.

After uninstalling updates, see if you can re- enable RCS before updating again.

Hold the app look for the little I next to the box go to storage clear cache then clear data then force stop the app if you have a s25 i dont think you can uninstall the app but if you can uninstall it after you've done all that and then open the app go to rcs and turn on your data and just leave it on for a bit use your phone like normal for a bit and just keep checking on the rcs swipe out of it then go into the rcs every so on for like 30 minutes and if it doesnt work then just wait for another google messages update from the play store and then once they've put out another update for google messages it should be fixed i had an issue where my S20 FE 5G on google messages said it wouldnt support RCS which is weird because it did before and I just waited for another update from google messages it felt like months but after they released like 2 or 3 google messages updates it was fixed if you wanna help your case a bit you can go into google messages press your profile and go down to help and feedback and hit send feedback write everything thats going on like all your issue and make a google play review 1 star and describe your issue and be very exact like extremely exact write down what you've done to fix the problem or else they will tell you something dumb youv already done lol

Thanks everyone, I cleared the cache, uninstalled the update and then reset my phone and eventually it worked!
