    <description>&lt;P&gt;Many people keep their old phones when they upgrade, if they are still working and they didn't trade it in, so that they have a backup for instances where they may have to send it in for repair, or it just fails, gets lost or stolen.&amp;nbsp; If you do decide to send it in, make sure you have a complete backup on a flash drive or external device, because I guarantee you they will reset it at some point and then all your personal data will be gone.&amp;nbsp; If you need a functional phone while your main device is out for repairs, I suggest that if you can afford to, you pick up a cheap phone of any brand so that you are not without a phone for any period of time.&amp;nbsp; Keep this as your "in case of emergency" phone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
