Please Don't Get Rid Of Samsung Messages!!!

I hate that Samsung stop using Samsung Messages as their default text message app! Google Message is ok but Samsung Messages is better in my opinion! Samsung messages you can customize a lot more and make it more your own. Google messages remind me of iPhone messages just plain and everyone messages looks the same. I hope Samsung doesn't do away with Samsung Messages because I don't wanna use Google messages as my default.

The s24 line not sure the fold number is when Samsung messages wasn't included but had Google messages as default

Yea! I believe they start doing Google Messages as default starting with the S line but it did come default on my z fold 7 also. I just went to the Galaxy Store and downloaded Samsung Messages 😂

You can still download Samsung Messages and use it. So, let's hope for the best. I don't think they will get rid of it. Even though I will keep using it even if they stop supporting it or stop RCS, I will download the APK and keep using Samsung Messages.

Yup! When I got my z fold 7 that was the first thing I did was go to the Galaxy store and download it and started using it! I said the same! I will download the APK if it still available and use it that way! There are many other texting apps I can download but Samsung Messages is #1 in my opinion 🤷🏾‍♀️

Samsung Messages has RCS, Knox security, built-in link sharing, sandbox, perfect One UI dark mode & color palette match, great reachability, clean design, category tabs, star messages and a short cut to view it, more power-efficient. Also, you can use any picture in your gallery as a background. Most of these things are missing in Google Messages.

Exactly 💯 and I love changing my themes on my phone and Samsung Messages changes with all the themes and Google messages doesn't! And I love being able to use my own pictures 📸 for my text messages background! Samsung is just the best!

I said the the same years ago, switched to Google, said nope, went back to Google again... I still have Samsung but I'll try to use it once in a while, but I just can't use it anymore Google just feels better. I message all day but I'm messaging not looking at colors.

My opinion, if you really dont care about customization and all that then Google Messages is a good app. But I love customizing my phone and messages so Samsung just works better for me. Way more options to customize individual/group messages.
