Sometimes you cant swipe out of the situation, the buttons give an easier navigation technique, it can lower your keyboard, take you home, open recent apps, without any swiping, swiping also doesnt work everytime, you have to swipe a few times for it to understand what youre trying to do. Personally I hate it a lot. But thanks for the heads up and convo

Notifications Clear Button too close to the return button on the screen. Fix it. Accidently causes me to Clear all my notifications when I actually just wanted to hit the return button. Has happened too many times and that is why I am posting this.

You can eliminate these accidental presses (as well as other issues such as some UI elements being overlapped by the navbar buttons) by transitioning to swipe gesture navigation.

Most software design choices are now being made with the newer swipe navigation style in mind as it's expected to become the default in future Galaxy phones/updates.

I hate the swipe navigation, its so stupid, its easier with the nav buttons to get in and out of apps to home screen or recent apps. IPhone has swipe navigation and thats one of the biggest reasons I dont have an i phone.

Interesting perspective. Personally, I have found swipe gestures to be far simpler, more intuitive, and a great way to prevent issues like the one you describe.

Just a heads up: if you dislike swipe gestures, you will want to be aware that they are now widely considered the industry standard across multiple manufacturers (not just iPhone) and are expected to be the default on Samsung devices soon.

Sure thing. NavStar actually offers a fix for the behavior you are describing where the back gesture doesn't consistently work in full screen media.
