Gray line appears when reading an article Zflip 6

Have any of you experienced an issue when reading articles on your android phone that shows blocks of gray over the article as seen in the attached? I am all of a sudden getting this on my Zflip 6 and I don't know what it is nor how to stop it. So if anyone out there has experienced this and can put forth some explanation I would certainly appreciate it.

The articles are from my Gmail where I subscribe to certain news, i.e. Western Journal, Breaking News, Patriot Post Daily, etc. The browser that I use is Firefox. However I read these articles thru my Gmail account not my browser.

Hey, is it just covering your text with this gray box or is it impeding what you are trying to accomplish in any way? Does it happen when closing the app and reopening it?

It's just an overlay and when I click on it, it disappears so that I am able to read the article.

Hi @crundle, I understand you read the articles through your Gmail. Have you tried opening them up in your browser to see if you still get that same gray box?

Yes I have and YES I still get the gray box in my Firefox browser!
