Sim tray doesn't have a notched corner

I am trying to install a sim card into my z flip 6 but the tray doesn't have a notched corner so the sim card, which does have one, doesn't seem to fit... Does it take a full sized or something? There are zero videos online addressing this 🤷

My sons phone had the same issue his old Sim wouldn't fit in his new phone so I had to call the phone company and they were able to do a e Sim card

This is a brand new SIM card they sent me - z flip 6 is only two years old It's not like some ancient phone, my s6 has a notched sim tray lol ..

Not if I want to use my old phone when this one is getting fixed, unless that is transferrable somehow...?

Can you transfer an esim to an old phone while this one is getting fixed ? That's why I'm trying to switch to a physical one

If its Esim compatible (old phone) and if they are the same... ie Samsung to Samsung, Then yes ... just go into phone settings, find sim settings and you will see (on flip 6) transfer sim. Have both phones on same wifi and next to each other

If old phone doesn't support esim, you will have to go to store and get one or call customer service and they can mail it.
