Try this, go to settings, Google services, all services, System services, look for a Google Play Services update.

If that doesn't work and you don't want to do what @Pianodude58 suggested, you will have to switch to Samsung Wallet until stable releases.

He's running on the past beta since he didn't roll back to 8.0 and thinks the 8.5 he just got was the stable which hasn't been released yet.

Downgrading my phone rn because I wasn't able to Dash, Spark or tap-to-pay from SamsungPay or Google Wallet.
